The Prayer of Gratitude

I express my deepest gratitude to God
for everything granted and ever given to me,
to my Mother and to all my relatives,
to all my friends and acquaintances,
to all my colleagues and students
for having shared their time,
attention and attitudes with me,
for all the good and bad ever done to me.
who beared with me,
who instructed me,
who helped me when
I had hardships and difficulties.
I treasure those who fired me,
hated and humiliated me,
who lied to me and swindled me,
who considered me to be an obstacle in their lives,
who used to say I was old and unwanted,
who wanted me to leave this world,
who cursed me,
who beat me up and deprived me of my rights,
who were mockering at me-
all my ex-acquaintances and my ex-supervisors.
I appreciate those who knowing little hated much,
who persecuted me for no reason.
Let the Allmighty God reward them accordingly,
in the measure of their merits and righteousness.
Amen.
